One Small Child:

Weekend ends, Monday comes
Anxiousness radiates
One small child stands alone.

The bus approaches, anxiousness rises
In one small child
Walks stiffly, foreboding
Overwhelms...relief
No sign of Him
Not now, he'll come later.

School flies
Then crawls
He sees Him
He moves toward the little boy
A malicious leer covers his face.

Black, blue, green
Covers his stomach, hot his face
A hint of a battered soul
Yet he say nothing.

Next day arrives
He cries before school, silent pleading
"Please, let Him not be here today, please."
Stomach in knots

School is different
He doesn't shed a tear
Even when he sees Him sneer.

Against a wall he's pushed
Surrounded by spectators
Hit once, twice
Relief from the crowd
"It's not me, at least it's not me."
heres the poem BlackWidow. the experience comes from being bullied..not the getting hit part. i put that in there cause that actually happens in schools.

I like the whole perspective of the poem. "one small child" not only the fact that it says "one" while you can tell there are definitely more of them, it also says "small" child because their souls are tiny and fragile obviously ^-^
